Since 1973, SECC has proudly served the communities of South Essex with a commitment to “Helping people. Improving lives.” As a registered, non-profit, charitable organization, we provide a wide range of services for individuals 55+, persons with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, job seekers, employers, children, and youth. Our offerings also include community information and income support services.
Founded by a group of dedicated citizens led by Father G.H. Duchene and JoAnne Fillimore, SECC was established to meet the diverse needs of the people of South Essex. Today, our vision of a community-supported agency continues to inspire our board, staff, and volunteers in our mission to foster a caring, collaborative, and inclusive community.
