Canada-Ontario Job Grant

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides financial support to help employers invest in the skills of their workforce. This program is designed to assist businesses in covering training costs for new or existing employees, ensuring they have the skills needed to succeed. 

  • Funding: Covers up to two-thirds of training costs, including tuition, textbooks, and other training materials, with a maximum grant of $10,000 per trainee. 
  • Eligibility: Available to private and non-profit sector employers who are training new or existing employees. 
  • Flexibility: Employers choose the training programs and providers that best meet their needs. 
  • Goal: Enhances employee skills to increase productivity and support business growth.
