Better Jobs Ontario

Better Jobs Ontario provides financial support to help individuals gain the skills and training needed to secure in-demand jobs. This program is designed for unemployed or underemployed individuals looking to make a career change or improve their prospects in today’s competitive job market. 

  • Eligibility: Available to those who are unemployed, underemployed, or laid off and meet specific program criteria. 
  • Funding: Covers costs for tuition, textbooks, transportation, childcare, and other expenses related to eligible training programs. 
  • Training Options: Focuses on short-term training programs that lead to in-demand jobs in local industries.
  • Support: Includes access to career counselling and guidance to help participants choose the right training for their goals.
