Meet Mark – SECC’s Volunteer Services Program Leader!
Mark has been with SECC for 24 years, starting in 1998 as a Meals on Wheels driver. Since then, he has become a vital part of our amazing team and recently stepped into the Volunteer Services position.
“I saw it as my opportunity to get back to my roots working with volunteers and promoting volunteerism in the community while continuing to support the mission, vision and values of SECC in a leadership capacity.”
Volunteers provide their time, enthusiasm, ideas and skills to help SECC to better serve our community. When asked what Mark would like to say to all the SECC Volunteers, he said: “THANK YOU!!! We cannot live out our mission, vision and values without each and every one of you. You are key in how to help people and improve lives every day.”
Outside of work, Mark has been watching The Curse of Oak Island and ” just finished reading “Love People, Use Things: Because the Opposite Never Works” by Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus (collectively known as The Minimalists, they also have a great podcast).”
Thank you Mark and to all of our Volunteers. Are you interested in volunteering with SECC? Give our office a call at 519-326-8629 and ask for Mark!
