International Day of Education

Today is International Day of Education. Education is a human right, a public good and a public responsibility.

Without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind.

Here at SECC, day and evening English language courses are offered in a classroom or one-on-one tutoring session. The learning experience is enriched with field trips to local sites and weekly conversation circles. If you are a newcomer to Canada, call our office to see if you are eligible and how to enrol in classes.

“The most important quality in mentor, teacher or coach is not how much they know. It’s how much they care. Caring is the more than taking pride in your success. It’s feeling joy as you progress. The people you want in your corner are the ones who celebrate your growth.”
