Ignite Academy

At Ignite Academy, we strive to provide comprehensive support and enrichment opportunities for children in grades 2-7, fostering their academic growth, social development, and overall well-being.

Ignite Academy collaborates with a variety of community partners to offer specialized programming for participants:

Academic Supports

Provided by the United Way, focusing on math and literacy.

Social Mentoring

Provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Arts and Cultural Enrichments

Provided by Art Can Teach.

Recreation, Wellness, and Family System Navigation

Provided by The SECC Ignite Team.

Eligibility

Children that would benefit from wrap-around and academic supports are eligible to participate in Ignite Academy.

Grade Range: Children must be in grades 2-7.

School Attendance: Participants must attend Queen Elizabeth Public School or St. Louis Catholic School.

Cost

Participation in Ignite Academy is entirely free.

Program Details

Operating Hours: Ignite Academy operates Monday to Thursday directly after school for two hours.

Location: The program takes place at Queen Elizabeth Public School and St. Louis Catholic School.
