Our esteemed Meat Manager wants to retire. Therefore, we are looking for a full-time person with retail meat cutting skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and possibly inventory, ordering and management skills. If this sounds like you? We want to hear from you!

Job Description
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare/cut/display meat products for deli/meat counter.
• Receive orders.
• Execute special order meat product requests.
• Meet company meat standards and Canadian Food Inspection
Agency regulations (CFIA).
• Adhere and implement all applicable company standards.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to Customers/Team
Members at all times.
• Follow/comply with established procedures including Weights and
Measures and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment. • Continue to provide technical training to meat department
employees.
• Actively contribute to an environment of employee/customer
engagement.

Job Requirements
• Excellent cutting skills with the ability to produce retail cuts. • Must be able to lift 50 in excess of 50 LBS.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and
pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting,
squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing),
32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators).
• Ability to handle knives and operate bandsaws and commercial ovens.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, hand jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable and a team player.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Grocery Store Meat Department or
other similar work experience.
